How do I submit my office art?

Easy. Just email the following to officeartoffice(@)gmail.com:
-Name (or Alias or Anon)
-Day Job (ie, Social Worker)
-Place of Occupation (ie, Sunset Bay, Florida)
-Title of Piece and Media (ie, The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Icarus (Feathers, metal binder loop, leaf, foil from cigarette pack, plastic lamination card))
-Up to 6 images, JPEG, GIF, or TIFF (make sure these are your best shots of the piece; photos taken at work preferred)
-Brief Statement of Purpose, Limited to One Paragraph (ie, "I've always been interested in miniatures and appropriation. Sometimes my job gets the best of me, but I'm glad to have had this project to work on over the last few weeks.")

In the end, your submission will look like this:

The Physical Impossibility of Death in the Mind of Icarus (Feathers, metal binder loop, leaf, foil from cigarette pack, plastic lamination card)

Janet Weaver
Social Worker
Sunset Bay, Florida

"I've always been interested in appropriation, narrative, symbolism, found art. Sometimes my job gets the best of me, but I'm glad to have had this project to work on over the last few weeks."

What kind of art should I submit?

Anything that you've created while on the job. The art should be made from materials found in the workplace or objects discovered on your way to work. Be creative. All we ask is that the work be yours, and that you are careful not to include any copyrighted images in the pictures you take of your work.

Is there a limit to the number of pieces I can submit?

We prefer to see one piece, though that piece can be comprised of many different elements, or work together toward a single resolution, like a triptych. We will, however, consider up to 3 pieces.

When is the site updated with new work?
Every Sunday.
